How can we help Contractors and other Construction / Service Professionals?
Today we’re featuring one of our largest professional categories of business that we serve. I will categorize them as construction related businesses and our customers include painting, electricians, plumbers, roofers, heating and air conditioning, paving and sealcoating, restoration, builders and general contractors and some others as well. Our team understands how many of these companies go to market from the smallest to the largest and help them in several important areas.
Our biggest category is apparel and generally we help with uniforms for those that need to be out in the hot sun with sun protective t-shirts, hats and gaiters, their sales team with polos and button-down shirts and even the executive team with logoed items as needed. We are often asked what the minimum order requirements are and for the most part we can work with whatever the company needs for their uniform needs. If there is a new team member and it is only one rep at a time we can still help. For most industries buying apparel is a more economical approach over renting apparel and we can provide a comparison for anyone that needs that at no cost or obligation.
Many of our customers make regular sales calls to plant managers or property managers and need ideas on what to bring to a cold call or a scheduled meeting. We can help with presentation materials like folders and preprinted sales sheets and cards. Also, we provide give away items suited to the objective, the budget, and the recipient. These can be desk items, items for the vehicle, personalized coffee cups or tumblers and much more. Sometimes it makes sense to have them drop shipped which we can also handle.
We support events our customers host, sponsor or attend including grand openings, small business expos, golf tournaments or other nonprofit fundraisers. Items we suggest can go from a economical cleaning cloth for cell phones, glasses and computer screens to UV sanitizer phone chargers for waiting rooms, goodie bag items for hosted events or golf tournaments and even recognition items like awards and lapel pins. Often our customers call us first and we can research items that work for them to compare. When time allows, we can get physical samples to our customers to compare ideas and to feel comfortable adding their company logo to an item that they have seen physically rather than just on a computer screen or catalog.
