Social media can be an invaluable resource to help raise brand awareness and create a feeling of goodwill towards your brand! There are 2.85 billion active users on Facebook, 1 billion active users on Instagram, 740 million members on LinkedIn, and 353 million active users on Twitter. That is a lot of people you can get your brand out to!

Creating a strategy or a plan for your social media is one of the most important things you can do. Pick platforms that will elevate your brand, and plan consistent times/messages to post out. Consistency is key! Look at factors such as how the algorithm works for each platform and whether content posts chronologically or is curated based on other factors, and tailor your posts on each platform! Keep your outreach in line with your company’s message, but don’t be afraid to post about things that are trending! Be wary of #Hashtagging or posting just to post or seem ”relevant”, you want to make sure you’re still being true to your brand and your audience! Interacting with your audience is also a fantastic way to build support for your brand! Your audience wants to know that there is a real person on the other side of the computer and not just a robot that sends out links all day. To that extent- your audience wants to hear from YOU, so let them! We’ve found that posts including pictures or messages directly from a member of our team tend to do better than plain product images! Your audience wants to connect with you, and this is a great way to do so!
