First Tradeshow of 2022!

2022 has started! Something exciting for our industry is that our big trade shows are back! Last week Martin attending the ASI Tradeshow in Orlando, Florida. Since this is the first big tradeshow in 2-years, this is a big deal! We’re so excited about these tradeshows because we and our peers get to visit with our manufacturing partners who share what’s new and what’s working.

Martin wants to share his observations after the first show on what seem to be top trends on what our partners are offering and launching.

Technology

Tech is huge, and some of the first booths I visited are adding corporate logos to the Apple Air Tag among other Apple brand products. Of course, corporate logos on brand names is not new, but it is growing and expanding beyond apparel, bags, and drinkware into tech.

Eco-Friendly Items

Many of our partners are coming out with reusable food containers, cutlery, and straws all which are eco-friendly and offer those using the items to eat healthier. In the apparel line, a new partner offers 100% recycled cotton in t-shirts and hoodies, and even more impressive along the eco-friendly vein is that end users can recycle their apparel (send in apparel to be recycled) by using a provided link on the items. Aside from clothing, we have a packaging supplier that manufactures boxes from wood and for each item sold, they plant a tree!

Packaging & Fulfilment

This trend exploded during the pandemic, with companies wanting to recognize and reward their employees working from home! Many of our partners offer fulfilment, which allows us to arrange to combine items together in just the right package and arrange to deliver as needed. We’re even able to offer drop shipping in some instances, where your branded package can be delivered directly to your recipient’s door!

Martin looks forward to sharing more from our next show in Las Vegas during this week.

We send good wishes to all, that our businesses and communities stay healthy and prosperous this coming year. Cheers to a wonderful 2022!
